About Us

At CoStar Cwmbran, we are dedicated to enhancing the lives of our community members through impactful initiatives and unwavering support.

Our Story and Mission

Founded in 2000, CoStar Cwmbran is committed to improving the quality of life for residents. Our mission focuses on tackling poverty, enhancing health and wellbeing, combating loneliness, and boosting skills and confidence. We operate from The Threepenny Bit Community Centre and the Community Hwb, supported by a dedicated team and invaluable volunteers. Our efforts are guided by a board of trustees who ensure our goals align with community needs.

Our Trustees

Guiding CoStar with wisdom and dedication, our board of trustees plays a crucial role in steering our mission. Their leadership ensures that we remain focused on our goals and continue to serve the community effectively.

CoStar is overseen by a board of 7 trustees, Cllr Mandy Owen, Cllr Rose Seabourne, Cllr Phil Seabourne, Cllr Leanne Lloyd-Tolman, Julian Davenne, Tom Matthews and Colette Willis.
