Volunteers' Evening 2015

Thursday 12th November 2015
Our volunteers mean a lot to us – without them CoStar would not run as well as it does.  Volunteers contribute greatly to the projects and activities at CoStar and we appreciate everything they do for us.  Our annual volunteers’ evening gives us the chance to say thank you to them all.  This year our trustees Cllr Jeff Rees and Mr Glyn Hankins presented the awards.
Our thanks go to the all following people who have regularly given their time to help us run our projects throughout the past year:

  • Karen Meredith for acting as as our caretaker
  • Paul De-warne for managing our allotment
  • Haulwen Bird for helping with our breakfast cafe and lunch club
  • Kyran Brierley for helping with our RePaint project and special events
  • Sima Shahim for helping with our Lunch Club
  • Kathy Morgan for helping with our Lunch Club
  • Janet Sanders for helping with our Breakfast Cafe
  • Christopher Cooke for helping with our Foodshare Project
  • Becky Clarkson for helping with our Foodshare Project
  • Jack Hale for helping with our RePaint project
  • Val Sinderby for helping with publicity and special events
  • Anne Arnold for helping with our lunch club and special events
  • Andrew Brennan who helps with our Foodshare Project
  • Michelle Gough who helps with our Foodshare Project and general help around the centre

We would also like to thank all of our trustees – Councillor Phil Seabourne, Councillor Rose Seabourne, Councillor Tom Matthews, Councillor Jeff Rees, Collette Willis, Richard Davies, Glyn Hankins and Dennis Lloyd – who all give their time freely to help steer and oversee the charity.
