The Friendly Face of CoStar
.
Deb Ball our receptionist has worked for CoStar for 7 and a half years. Deb first came to work with us back in the autumn of 2008. At the time we were based in 2 rooms in the Power Station in St.Dials, but not for long we soon moved to the then Bron Afon Housing office in Fairwater and from there we moved to the Three Penny Bit Community Hall in Greenmeadow.
Deb is the first point of call for everyone who comes into the Three Penny Bit. Based in our reception hall she greets all our visitors and has a broad knowledge of everything going on at the Three Penny Bit. If you give us a ring it is likely that Deb will answer the telephone. Deb has lived in this area for many years and is well known in the local community, having a good local knowledge and being a recognisable face is a great advantage in our business. Deb is able to make people feel at ease and accepted, it helps a great deal when you walk in to a new place to meet someone who makes you feel welcome and at ease.
Deb has a wonderful memory for faces, she can remember people that she met from years ago. Deb has renewed many an old acquaintance and rekindled friendships at the Three Penny Bit.
Deb has a remarkable sense of humour which tumbles into her working life and helps to create a homely friendly atmosphere. She is well known for her love of music, particularly Elvis. Any Elvis fans come in and say hello. She brings her fun loving personality into the Three Penny Bit, her love for living is contagious, she has us all laughing!
